A week-long, relatively limited visit to Winnipeg in mid-October. Though we didn’t get out much we were able to visit the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. The exhibits—particularly the residential schools installation—garnered a surprisingly strong emotional reaction.
Our only other excursion of note was to Pineridge Hollow, 20 minutes north of the city. An obvious venue for weddings, with rustic decor and a handful of friendly farm animals.
For the most part though, it was a low-key visit. A couple of visits with family, a surprising amount of board game sessions, and quiet nights in.
A few frightening frames from a ghoulish gathering of mischievous miscreants.
